A Taste of Asia

Learn the basic ingredients used in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Thai cooking and the countless flavor combinations available. We'll take a hands-on approach and cook three easy Asian dishes that you will want to cook for your family again and again.

Who knew that beef wrapped in lettuce could be so good? Want more? By popular demand, here you go.

Touring the Mediterranean

So many countries, so many flavors, so little time. This class focuses on fresh ingredients, simple techniques, and can't-miss flavor combinations.

The Original My First Kitchen Back to Basics

Let's say you have no idea how to cook anything; boiling water for Top Ramen freaks you out a little. This is the class for you. You'll learn basic knife skills, simple cooking techniqes, and tips on putting ingredients together. Perfect for people in their first real place on their own and especially new married couples. Yes, the guy can cook, too.

How to Cook Chicken

How many of you hate cooking chicken? I sense lots of nodding. You cook it to death so that it doesn't make you sick, but then you're stuck with a dry piece of fiberous grossness. All of that changes here, my friends. These recipes are so easy, and I promise you won't have to force dry chicken on anyone again.

Summer Salads

A salad doesn't have to be lettuce with little carrot slivers and ranch dressing. These dishes are delicious, and you'll learn a lot of great knife skills along the way.

Make Your Own Pizza

Make the dough, make the sauce, cook the toppings... there's nothing like homemade pizza. Sure, you can still call for delivery, but trust me, you won't want to.

How to Cook Fish

Maybe even more frightening than cooking chicken is cooking fish. There are so many varieties, and each one has its own cooking quirks... or so you thought. Learn the methods of cooking fish, and your fear of fish will soon be restricted to the large biting varieties that have their own theme music.

Weekend Brunch

Brunch is that meal that never seems to fit into regular life. Try a few of these recipes, and you'll cook brunch much sooner than you think... just because you want. Beware though - you'll have late morning visitors wanting a taste. Don't say I didn't warn you.

break%20line.jpg  Sweet and crunchy French toast casserole, pesto frittata, and UH-MAZING blueberry scones with lemon glaze (seriously, possibly one of the tastiest things I teach)

Make Your Own Pasta

This is possibly one of my favorite things to teach. Mixing and rolling fresh pasta is so much fun and feels like you're doing something a little special and out of the ordinary. A pasta machine isn't necessary either. We'll make pasta both ways. Seriously, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

break%20line.jpg  White and whole wheat pastas, homemade sauces, and maybe even a little ravioli - specific recipes will depend on the freshest ingredients available that day

Girls' Night Out

Have you ever gotten together with your girlfriends at your house just to have great food and gab? If you haven't, you need to. Throw on something sparkly, make a few of these bites, grab a bottle of wine, and just be a girl!

Chocolate, A Girl's Real Best Friend

Diamonds? Nope. Chocolate is the way to go. Grab a group of friends and learn to make these simple but decadent chocolate desserts. Can you think of a better way to spend an evening? Yeah, me neither. Oh, and guys are welcome, too. You'll just be severely mocked. KIDDING.
