Don't Make a Move
August 20, 2008 Do you wonder how restaurants get their meat to look like this?
Here's how: when you put the meat in the pan, DON'T MOVE IT. Don't even touch it until it's time to turn it over. I know it feels chef-ish to gently move your food around, but avoid the urge. Then you'll get pretty food. I'm a big fan of pretty food.

Yumm-y! What kind of fish is that? My husband loves fish and I'm always reluctant to cook it b/c I'm not really sure how! Best I do is "broiled" in the oven.
P.S. I've been a blog "lurker" until today. I love your blog!
The fish I used here is salmon, one of our faves.
