How to Cook a Quesadilla

Guess what? You don't need a bunch of quesadilla recipes or even a quesadilla maker to make a great (I like repetition) quesadilla. Don't believe me? Just watch.

I just procrastinated finishing a paper to watch you cook your quesadilla. its like I was home, well, in your kitchen. and it looked yummy my friend. I need to do a class. I feel like Ive cheated by hanging out and tasting. like I snuck into a movie or something.

Ooo...quesadillas. I love a good quesadilla. I had fun at your event this weekend. It was good to see everyone. And thanks for the spoon suggestion. I might have to get one for myself too!

Gotta love some yummy quesadillas!! Thanks, Kaz, for the awesome camera work. :)

I know what I am having for lunch now! I love your videos - you should do more of them!

Yay, another video! And yes, pre-grated cheese is pure evil....just so we're clear on that.

yummm... loved the video! And now I'm excited to try to make a quesadilla!

Your video made me covet a quesadilla. Unfortunately, all I had in the fridge was leftover country corn, leftover purple hull peas, and mozzerella cheese. I decided to go for it anyway, and it was SO yum! I also decided another awesome combo would be shredded bbq chicken, green apples, and colby jack. Next time we have leftover BBQ chicken, that's what I'm going to make. Quesadillas are my new "what to do with leftovers" item.

The elevator/grocerystore/onhold-ish music at the beginning and end may have been my favorite part.

Awesome video! I have to be the world's lamest cook (no, really, I have sworn statements on file), but you make me think I could actually do it. Yesss.

BTW, thank you for the lovely comment on my blog the other day. That I can make you laugh out loud at inappropriate times is about the biggest compliment you could give me. That means a lot to me - thanks so much!

You are so adorable I can't even stand it. I'm going to send your video to a friend who declares she can't cook, and see what she has to say. I'm thinking now anybody can cook, if you're teaching 'em online!

Okay...off to see what I have in my kitchen so I can make what you just made. 'Cause it's all I can think of now! Thanks!

Melody Watson sent me here to watch this. I love your friendly attitude. Oh wait, I see Melody's post about sending this to a friend who can't cook. Hmm... I guess that would be me. Do you offer any vegetarian cooking classes? I'd be interested!

When are you getting your show on Food Network!? Loved the video!

Great video!!! Ok, get this girl an agent. You're a total natural in front of the camera.

Watching this tutorial makes me remember a recipe an old college bf used to make...chinese quesadillas. Cheese, green onions, diced garlic, ginger and mushrooms. I remember loving them. (And he's still a friend, which is always nice)

Aaaah!! I loved that video!! You are too funny! I definitely want to order that TexMex stuff!! Marsh and I were just watching this together, and it happens to be lunchtime right now, and we both happen to be salivating and WANTING to make quesadillas now!! I love how at the end you say, "Strigy cheese, you can't plan that, people." You definitely need your own cooking show.

What an awesome tutorial. I make quesadillas all the time in the oven and then have to put them in the toaster oven to give them the crispy crunch. Thanks, Deana

keng. honestly. you need your own cooking show. you would rock at it. i felt like i was watching rachel ray. but wayy better.

November 15, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterJulianna

Just remember that you heard it from me first...you ARE going to have your own cooking show. And that's not just your mawma talking!

Oh girl! I loved watching your video! I cannot wait to get back down there and take one of your classes.

Quesedillas are one of my fave ways to use up the leftovers in the fridge. Love your technique for oiling the tortillas. I always try to put the oil directly on the tortilla which gets kind of messy. DUH!

Would you consider mailing some of your tex mex spice? It sounds SOOO good! Thanks!
